Catalog description
This course explores instructional strategies and assessment practices that support diverse learners in elementary and secondary classrooms. Candidates will examine differentiation, student-centered pedagogy, universal design for learning (UDL), and formative and summative assessments. Emphasis is placed on research-based practices for English language learners (ELLs), students with disabilities, and gifted students. Candidates will design and implement instructional and assessment strategies to ensure equitable access to learning for all students.
