Catalog description
A course that addresses algebraic topics such as solving equations and inequalities; developing models; graphing functions; and general concepts of functions. Students will have the opportunity to practice communicating their understanding of numerical, analytical, and graphical approaches to discuss problems that can be expressed algebraically. Students will be expected to identify, analyze, and solve algebraic problems in a variety of applied contexts for transfer toward academic, personal, and professional success.
