Integrated Standards-Based Learning Design for the Elementary Classroom

Catalog description

This course prepares future and practicing elementary educators to design, implement, and evaluate integrated, standards-based learning experiences across core subject areas including Mathematics, English Language Arts (ELA), Science, and Social Studies. Candidates will develop lesson plans and unit designs that foster deep content understanding, critical thinking, and creativity while meeting state and national standards. Emphasis is placed on integrating disciplines to reflect real-world problem-solving and supporting culturally and linguistically diverse learners.
