Catalog description

This course addresses the role of professional knowledge and skills in the educational field. Students explore professional, legal, and ethical requirements that guide collaborative interactions with children, families/caregivers, and other professionals while supporting the needs of learners. The concepts of advocacy, professional development, and lifelong learning are addressed in relation to the role of the professional educator.
