Catalog description

Legal issues exist within development at the local, national, and international levels. Students examine and compare ethical and regulatory impacts from a social, economic, environmental, and political perspectives. This course focuses on the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders, such as corporations, advocacy groups, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and governing bodies. Students will examine the current issues and trends, as well as future outlook of sustainable development.
