Catalog description

From boiling an egg to designing a sustainable home, everyday experiences blend art and science in surprising ways. This course explores how integrated STEM principles appear in common objects, processes, and environments. Students will engage in authentic learning experiences while discovering the science hidden in plain sight. Participants will create cross-disciplinary strategies to build critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills through the lens of ordinary phenomena.
