Catalog description

This course addresses how to find, evaluate, and apply research evidence for healthcare decision-making. Learners will explore the hierarchy of evidence, critically appraise research literature, and interpret statistical findings to distinguish between statistical and clinical significance. Students will demonstrate competency in evaluating research quality, designing ethical data collection plans, and synthesizing evidence to develop and communicate recommendations for evidence-based practice in healthcare settings.
