Catalog description

This course is an introduction to scholarship which includes identification of practice issues; appraisal and integration of evidence; and evaluation of outcomes. The focus is on the identification of research designs within the hierarchy of evidence and accurate interpretation of evidence from individual studies. Students will apply principles of evidence-based practice, identify appropriate researchable questions, and review research-based evidence to improve practice.
