Catalog description

This course empowers educators to integrate literacy skills across content areas, focusing on fluency, vocabulary development, and comprehension. Participants will explore accommodations, scaffolding, formative assessment, and contextualized lesson plans to meet diverse learners’ needs. The course highlights strategies for leveraging school/community assets and forging global literacy connections to build a culture of literacy and target achievement gaps.
