This course prepares educators to evaluate and strengthen literacy programs through data-driven decision-making. They conduct a comprehensive needs assessment, examining current literacy practices, curriculum alignment, and student performance data. Drawing on scientific research, instructional frameworks, and theories, educators develop a schoolwide leadership initiative. The course culminates with a professional development plan to enhance school literacy practices.
