This course is designed to develop an appreciation and general understanding of statistics. It offers an interpretation of fundamental statistical concepts, including variation and variables, levels of data measurement, descriptive statistics and data display, probability, statistical significance, confidence intervals, statistical power analysis, hypothesis testing, and inferential statistics.
