This course explores the application process for competitive and noncompetitive grants and alternative funding sources, such as foundation grants and local, state, and federal grants. Students apply strategies to manage the grant-writing process, assess the qualities of effective grant proposals, research the best funding opportunities, and identify and complete a grant application suitable for their organization.
