Catalog description
This course emphasizes the importance of human capital in the development and operation of an effective organization. Through a series of assignments and discussions, students will learn about the benefits of strategic planning by identifying the organization’s human capital needs, including recruitment, onboarding, evaluations, and incentives offered. Best practices, laws, and policies related to staff selection and hiring will also be identified. Considerations for team building, professional development, and increasing employee morale will be discussed.
