Catalog description

This course will examine current research focused on language and literacy development in early childhood. Concepts in the course will address developmental stages, instructional strategies, and factors that contribute to foundational language and literacy skills. The course will also address how to support emergent language and literacy skills with children from various backgrounds and strengthen the home-school partnership.
