1 section
Catalog description
Bias in hiring, promotion, and succession decisions undermines organizational performance and ethical leadership. This course critically examines how unconscious bias shapes judgment in talent management, drawing on decision case studies to interrogate where existing practices succeed and where they fall short. Students will investigate recruitment and promotion decisions across organizational contexts and evaluate the ethical and operational implications of bias. They will construct evidence-based leadership practices that mitigate bias and advance fair decision-making in workforce development.
