THTR-457 Playwriting (3) Writing for the live theatre provides an opportunity to create whole new worlds from words. In this course, students explore the fundamentals of dramatic structure by engaging deeply with the work of established playwrights; participate in a wide variety of challenging and inspiring in-class writing exercises; and write (and re-write) at least two original short plays.
