English Language Teaching I (3) Introduction to theories and principles of English language teaching, language acquisition, and a review of various methods and approaches used in language teaching, leading to an understanding of the development of the communicative approach. Provides opportunities for peer teaching and requires observation of English language classes, along with tutoring or teaching of English to non-native speakers. Crosslist: TESL-601.
