Spanish Introductory Topics (3) Topics vary by section. Rotating topics include courses that serve as a bridge between the language sequence and upper-level courses. Courses are taught in Spanish on topics such as central issues in Latin American studies, indigenous people in Latin America, and media in Latin America. Emphasis is placed on vocabulary, expressions, and structures related to the specific topic. Usually Offered: fall and spring. Repeatable for credit with different topic. Prerequisite: SPAN-322, SPAN-353, or minimum score of 583 on the language placement exam.
