Topics in Public Affairs (1) Topics vary by section. Skills-based courses aimed at supplementing and enhancing coursework offered in the Department of Government, Department of Justice, Law and Criminology, and the Department of Public Administration and Policy. Topics include core principles of data visualization, policy writing for a general audience, media skills training, the power of effective presentations, and how to start a non-profit.
