International Political Economy (3) Economic competitiveness is a major contemporary issue, not only for the major powers, but also for newly industrializing countries and for developing nations. The forces affecting international competition and competitiveness are discussed through an examination of both domestic issues (debt, deficit, innovation, trade, education) and international issues, both political and economic. Usually Offered: fall and spring. Grading: A-F only. Prerequisite: SISU-105.
