Essentials of Economics and Data Analytics (3) This foundational course, for international affairs practitioners, trains students in the relevant tools of economics and data analysis for international policy. Students learn to select and apply appropriate economic thinking, manage, explore, and analyze data using Excel, and effectively communicate their findings. The course emphasizes the practical application of economic concepts and data skills to various international affairs contexts, such as sanctions, development, and international trade. Through a combination of lectures, discussions, and lab-based exercises, students develop the analytical tools necessary to tackle complex global challenges and succeed in their careers.
