Entertainment Law (3) Behind every television program, motion picture, or recording lies a complex series of legal agreements, which cover acquisition of rights, engaging talent, use of recordings on television, and much more. This course examines legal issues specific to and important for the entertainment industry, including legal aspects of contractual structures common in the industry, the law of intellectual property, and the major regulatory laws affecting the industry. Crosslist: MGMT-602. Prerequisite: ACCT-245, MGMT-203, or MGMT-301.
