Applied Calculus I (3) Functions, differentiation, and integration. Applications to several areas, especially business. AU Core Foundation: Quantitative Literacy I. Usually Offered: fall, spring, and summer. Prerequisite: MATH-160 or MATH-170. Restriction: Registration not allowed in both MATH-211 and MATH-221. Note: Registration eligibility may be determined by appropriate score on the Mathematics Placement test. Credit toward a major in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics requires departmental approval. Students may not receive credit toward a degree for both MATH-211 and MATH-221.
