Catalog description

This course provides students with the opportunity to develop critical skills in policy analysis and applied research centered on current, real-world housing challenges. Through hands-on research and specialized writing projects-such as drafting policy briefs, white papers, regulatory public comments, and stakeholder educational matters-students will learn how to critically evaluate housing initiatives and effectively communicate complex legal implications to the public and policymakers. Students may enroll in the course concurrently with the foundational Housing Law course, but it is not a requirement.
