Catalog description

This course will analyze causes and consequences of corruption, laws criminalizing transnational bribery, recent enforcement and the development and implementation of ethics and compliance programs. It will compare international anticorruption convention provisions promoting public sector transparency, integrity and accountability to the US system and emerging challenges to the rule of law and good governance norms and practices. It will also discuss development assistance integrity measures and sanctions programs and multilateral and multi-stakeholder transparency initiatives.
