Catalog description
Data Analysis in Practice (2) Decision making in business requires selecting the best alternative among many. Students use business-related data sets and software to describe data, construct probability distributions, estimate numerical descriptive measures, make an inference about a population parameter via hypothesis testing and build regression models. This course builds the foundation for learning artificial intelligence and machine learning content in the subsequent courses within the curriculum. Grading: A-F only. Prerequisite: KSB-113 with grade of C or better. Note: Spring enrollment open only to first-year students; fall enrollment open only to first-year students or sophomores.
