Programming Tools for Analytics: Python (3) This course provides foundations in three areas of software programming for business analytics, focusing on Python, an open source, object-oriented, general programming language with powerful capabilities like dynamic web development, data extraction from the web, and automation. First, it introduces software development and object-oriented programming. Second, it provides an overview of Python, the Python syntax, and popular Python packages for business analytics modeling. Third, the course reviews useful tools to enhance the productivity in Python, including iPython and Jupyter Notebooks. Crosslist: ITEC-400. Prerequisite: ITEC-610.
