Foundations of Public Health and Health Equity (3) This course introduces the study and practice of public health under the guiding principle that achieving health equity is critical for advancing the population's health. In addition to covering the origins, history, values and functions of public health practice, it explores the powerful influence of social determinants on health disparities evident throughout the life course.
