American Government Capstone (3) In this course students produce a capstone, an in-depth, research based, original work of publishable quality, in American politics. The course combines research methods with a writing support group and individual academic counseling. Students develop a research question, literature review, and study design, and then conduct the research project to produce a polished written study that is presented to the class. AU Core Integrative Requirement: Capstone. Usually Offered: spring. Grading: A-F only. Prerequisite: GOVT-110, GOVT-310, and senior standing.
