Business French and Professional Communication (3) This course emphasizes the cultural knowledge and linguistic skills needed to work and succeed in a French-speaking environment. Students learn to comprehend a variety of professional and business-related texts, to prepare reports and cover letters for positions in Francophone workplaces, and to design a resume in French. The course emphasizes both oral and written communication. Students examine their career goals, networking abilities, and the French language skills needed to participate in the Francophone work world. Crosslist: FREN-636. Prerequisite: FREN-323 or minimum score of 526 on the language placement exam.
