Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management (3) This intermediate survey course in investments explores markets, securities, trading, and institutions; equity, fixed income, and derivatives valuations; portfolio management; factor, fundamental, and technical analysis; among other topics. Qualitative and quantitative analysis are employed in discussions of efficient markets, alternative investments, international securities, and performance attribution from the informed decision-making standpoint of the retail and institutional investor. Students explore situational and contextual critical analyses with reference to the contemporary investment marketplace. AU Core Integrative Requirement: Quantitative Literacy II. Prerequisite: FIN-365 or KSB-221 with grade of C or better, and completion of Quantitative Literacy I requirement.
