Trauma-Informed Practices and Behavioral Supports for Diverse Learners (3) This course prepares educators with the skills to implement trauma-informed practices and behavioral supports tailored to the needs of diverse students with developmental, emotional, and learning differences. Participants deepen their understanding of how trauma affects cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral development and how these effects manifest in educational settings. The course also emphasizes culturally responsive approaches to understanding and addressing the unique emotional and behavioral challenges faced by students with disabilities. Usually Offered: fall.
