Advanced Labor Economics (3) Examines current major theoretical and empirical topics within labor economics. Topics include labor supply, job search, dynamic models of human capital accumulation, wage determination, and structural and reduced form empirical methods. The focus is on developing a working knowledge of the open questions, relevant literature, and methods that are needed to formulate and develop original research projects. Usually Offered: alternate springs (even years). Prerequisite: ECON-623 or ECON-823.
