Social Problems in Context (3) This course explores how the economic way of thinking uncovers the hidden forces behind social problems, linking historical context, choices, and actionable solutions. Students use the economic way of thinking to analyze variety of social problems in different times and places. The course prepares students to make plans of action for understanding and solving problems that matter to them today. AU Core Habits of Mind: Socio-Historical Inquiry.
