The Global Majority (3) This course explores the facts and ethical dimensions of key issues affecting the lives of the global majority: the 85 percent living in low- and middle-income countries. The course introduces principles of ethical reasoning and economic development; students then apply ethical reasoning to issues of poverty, inequality, population growth, gender inequality, excluded and invisible children, urbanization, climate change, access to water and sanitation, and international trade.
