Catalog description
Statistical Programming in R (3) Programming and data analysis using the open-source statistical program R. Explores a data science life cycle including basic programming, basic data structures, data wrangling, data cleaning, data visualization, exploratory data analysis, data import and export, relational datasets, and data presentation. Emphasis is placed on the popular tidyverse suite of packages. Students explore the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools for supporting statistical programming and data science analysis. Crosslist: DATA-612. Usually Offered: fall, spring, and summer. Grading: A-F only. Prerequisite/Concurrent: 6 MATH/STAT credit hours at or above 200-level.
