Catalog description

Cloud Computing and Machine Learning (3) Managing, processing, and analyzing the continuously generated huge volume of data from heterogeneous sources is challenging and requires the adoption of high-performance computing frameworks and techniques. This course discusses the performance bottlenecks in traditional data processing, analytical tools, and techniques. It also presents opportunities to design scalable solutions leveraging distributed cluster environment architectures. Crosslist: CSC-483. Note: Knowledge of object-oriented programming in Python required.
