Community News Reporting (3) Students learn basic storytelling, copyediting skills and AP style, headline writing, good news judgment, story and visual selection, and how to produce multimedia stories, with a focus on community news reporting. The course includes discussion of legal and ethical issues and trends in news coverage and audiences. Restriction: Communication: Journalism and Public Affairs (MA) or Journalism and Digital Storytelling (MA).
