Art in Popular Culture Campaigns (3) This course shows how visual art techniques including color, composition, and form are used in pop culture from Superbowl ads to marketing and PR stunts to reach target audiences. Focused on communication principles, the course dives into how art and creativity are used across marketing, public relations, and advertising campaigns. Students analyze how brands use these artistic techniques to sell and popularize goods in modern digital media which play a role in their success in the early twenty-first century. AU Core Habits of Mind: Creative-Aesthetic Inquiry. Grading: A-F only.
