Instrumental Analysis (3) Analytical and instrumental methods; statistical analysis of data and errors; theory of optical and chromatographic methods including ultraviolet, visible, infrared, and fluorescence spectroscopy, and gas and liquid chromatography; atomic spectroscopy; mass spectrometry; and nuclear magnetic resonance. Usually Offered: fall. Prerequisite: CHEM-310; MATH-221 or MATH-222; and PHYS-210.
