2 Lab Hours Prerequisites: WLD 101 Description In this course, students learn how to properly differentiate techniques used for vertical and overhead welding. Out-of-position shielded metal arc welds are emphasized, including proper heats, electrode selections and alternating currents/direct currents (AC/DC). Students also learn how to safely use the various power sources in these types of welding applications.
