3 Lab Hours Prerequisites: MAT 108 , CHM 109 or CHM 110 and CHM 111 , BIO 115 Co-requisites: RES 111 , PHY 123 Description In this course, students explore the relationship between respiratory equipment and the pathological condition of patients. Students learn to identify the reasons for intubation and learn how to perform endotracheal intubation and extubation. Additionally, students learn techniques of airway management and how to properly assess patients.
