3 Skills Lab Hours Prerequisites: MUS 130 Description This course builds on the singing skills developed in Class Voice 1. Students rehearse and perform more advanced vocal repertoire from the Western art tradition as they refine their application of the Bel Canto technique of singing. In addition, this course addresses vocal techniques common in musical theatre. Lectures and activities include more advanced exercises designed to develop students’ vocal skills; solo and ensemble rehearsals; and vocal performances representing both classical and musical theatre styles.
