3 Skills Lab Hours Prerequisites: MEC 112 Description This course builds on MEC 112, Introduction to Robotics, through a series of hands-on exercises performed in the lab. Topics covered include fundamentals of computer vision including edge detection, lighting, neural networks and training data. Students learn the process of inspecting robots for manufacturing, automated ground vehicles and concepts of autonomy and path planning. Students program multiple robotic systems, including collaborative robots in real-world workcell configurations throughout this course.
