3 Skills Lab Hours Description This course introduces students to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the design and prototyping process. Students explore generative design, topology optimization and AI-driven simulation workflows to rapidly create and evaluate design alternatives. Emphasis is placed on integrating AI-assisted design tools with digital fabrication technologies such as 3D printing, computer numerical control (CNC) machining and electronics prototyping. Through hands-on projects, students gain experience applying AI to accelerate product development, improve efficiency and explore innovative design solutions.
