3 Skills Lab Hours Description This course provides students with an introduction to computer numerical control (CNC) machining and its role in modern manufacturing. Students gain hands-on experience with CNC mill and lathe operations, focusing on safety, setup, tool selection and basic G-code programming. Emphasis is placed on precision measurement, process planning and producing machined parts that meet design specifications. By the end of the course, students are able to set up, program and operate CNC machines to manufacture simple components.
