3 Skills Lab Hours Description This course introduces students to the fundamentals of digital design and fabrication, emphasizing the complete process of transforming an idea into a physical prototype. Students learn how to design using computer-aided design (CAD) tools, operate makerspace equipment such as 3D printers, laser cutters and computer numerical control (CNC) machines and integrate basic electronics into their projects. The course emphasizes hands-on learning through individual and group projects, providing students with the skills to design, fabricate and evaluate functional prototypes safely and effectively.
