3 Skills Lab Hours Prerequisites: MEC 120 Description This course is a continuation of the study of computer generated graphics. Students develop advanced skills in computer-based drawing by creating working drawings for engineering applications with an emphasis on 3-dimensional (3D) design and modeling. These drawings include orthographic projection concepts, section views, tolerancing and dimensioning, notes, schedules and symbols lists. Students create drawings using computer assisted design (CAD) software, including AutoCAD and Solidworks.
