4 Lab Hours Prerequisites: HEO 202 Description Expanding on the foundational skills from previous courses, this course introduces students to diverse operations and applications within the heavy equipment construction sector. Students explore welding techniques such as stick, metal inert gas (MIG), tungsten inert gas (TIG) and gas welding and the safe operation of lattice, telescopic and crawler-mounted cranes. The course emphasizes equipment operation for paving and explores the intricate components and principles of power trains and hydraulic systems.
