4 Lab Hours Description This course equips students with rigorous safety training for personal and equipment handling within the Heavy Equipment Operator field. Industry regulations and safe work practices are covered including hands-on opportunities for inspecting equipment and mastering emergency procedures. The course prepares students for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Outreach completion card and explores pipeline construction and Department of Transportation qualifications.
